Kotaro, Sakura, Aishu Hebiko and Shikanosuke are able to find the castle but are confronted by more of Gaiza's men but also Succubus. Kotaro is followed by Igawa Sakura that wanted to see the ghost castle too, finding a servant of Gaiza, Dobashi Gonza, that wishes to see a ghost lady. Learning that he now leads a Taimanin Ranger troop, she seems impressed that he isn't a "pampered slacker" and leaves with a smile. Meeting Yukikaze in the corridor outside, she gives him a hard time. Kotaro hears rumor of a haunted western style castle appearing in the rain near Gosha Academy and is send to investigate by Asagi.
Features a boss fight with a XPS-11A Bone. However, the content of the envelope convinces Sabato to return to Gosha Village once more, and Murasaki scares of the Masked Woman. Saving Hebiko and Shinkanosuke on the way, they find find Sabato, talking with a Masked Woman wishing to hire or kill him. Murasaki gives Kotaro an envelope, which he isn't allowed to open to Sabato. Yatsu Murasaki gives him support, in the mission to bring back Sabato, which would get killed otherwise by the government. At the same time Kotaro has been send out on this first mission by Asagi, as troup leader of the Taimanin Rangers. Hebiko and Shikanosuke are send out as the first team on the search but get lost in town, and spend most time running away from Animal Drone weapons and thugs. Kiryu Sabato has stormed out of Gosha Village, after he was questioned about knowing of Muroi Mitsuhiko being Fulst. Features a boss fight with an Ogre slave. At the same time Muroi Mitsuhiko, reveals that he is Fulst of Nomad and attacks the group with an Ogre. Rushing to Igawa Asagi office, they find Gaiza using his ability to attack her, revealing that this is a rebellion. After a while they get attacked by Taimanin of the Fuuma clan. Kotaro and Gaiza, have a minor fight, Kotaro's friends Hebiko and Shikanosuke break the fight up. Kotaro Special Operations team is joined by his friends, Aishu Hebiko and Uehara Shikanosuke, as they swear to bring Gaiza back. 
Asagi sees potential in Kotaro and appoints him as the leader of a new special operations team. Kotaro assists in fending off Gaiza's attempted assassination of Igawa Asagi. Gaiza declares himself the head of the Fuuma clan and rebels against the Gosha Taimanin who he considers a 'dogs of the government'. The current head of the Fuuma clan, Fuuma Kotaro is confronted by Nisha Gaiza, who has had enough with him.
